Bookish Features WWW Wednesdays

WWW Wednesday: December 27, 2017

Hey bookworms! I’m back for another WWW Wednesday. This weekly meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words. It’s simple. Just answer the following questions:

What did you read last?
Over the long weekend, I had the chance to finish The Nest by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney, which I absolutely loved. I will hopefully have a review up sometime tomorrow!

What are you currently reading?
I’m flying through Gabrielle Zevin’s The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry, which is so heartwarming. I’m also halfway through Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and I still have Queen of the Tearling on hold. I’m planning to finish the three of these by the time 2018 hits. I’d like a fresh start to the year.

What will you read next?
I’d really love to start 2018 with something promising. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is one way to do this – and I’ll know I’m setting a good precedent for the year. The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan is another possibility – I don’t see that being a letdown either.

  1. I love this! I ended my 2017 with my reread of the Order of the Phoenix, which followed my reread of Goblet of Fire, and now… instead of reading a new book, or diving into a school book to get ahead of myself… I’m reading Half-Blood Prince. It’s a great way to finish a year with Harry, and start one with him. I will always try to do this because then I know I’m at least starting and ending the year right!
